The 2016 update is excellent! Thank you INTEL!
I was using INTEL Parallel Studio 2015 with Visual Studio 2010, so i also had to upgrade to Visual Studio 2013 and therefore i was expecting issues to come at me from all over the place.
But everything went on without a hitch (one minor LNK1117 error where apparently the format of version changed, so fixed that and voila! all worked!)
Thought i'd let you know that we appreciate the update! First test was a massive solution with 4 large projects and over 50 thousand lines of code, hundreds (thousands?) of routines/functions/etc compiling into 1 EXE and 3 DLLs with shared data, etc.and all recompiled and runs without a hitch!
the installation of MSVS 2013 took 20 minutes, the installation of Intel Parallel Studio 2016 with all the bells and whistles (Fortran, C++, Vtune, etc) took 20 minutes and the full recompile of my project was as quick or quicker than with Parallel Studio 2015 and Visual Studio 2010.
Looking forward to benchmarking my code to see how much of the 'up to 80% faster' i can get.
